Team TaylorMade European stars agree new deals

TaylorMade Golf Company, an industry leader in product innovation and technology, announced today that it has agreed new deals with Martin Kaymer, Lucas Herbert, Victor Dubuisson, Ivan Cantero, Ewen Ferguson and Paul McGinley to continue representing TeamTaylorMade.

MARTIN KAYMER

Former World #1, two-time Major Champion and Ryder Cup stalwart Martin Kaymer re-joins Team TaylorMade with a 14-club and TP5x Golf Ball deal. Kaymer, who holds full status on the PGA TOUR and European Tour has 23 worldwide professional wins including The US Open, US PGA Championship, PLAYERS Championship and WGC HSBC Champions, alongside winning the year long Race to Dubai in 2010. Kaymer has been part of the TaylorMade family since 2009 and will look to add more successes to his already illustrious career to date.

LUCAS HERBERT

Lucas Herbert re-joins Team TaylorMade after a successful rookie year on the European Tour in 2018. Herbert, who resides in Melbourne, Australia, first turned pro in 2015 before graduating to the European Tour whereby he secured five top five finishes and seven top ten finishes from 21 starts in 2018. Herbert will play a full bag of TaylorMade equipment and TP5x Golf Ball.

VICTOR DUBUISSON

Two-time European Tour winner Victor Dubuisson re-joins TeamTaylorMade after a year out of the game with a perforated ear drum. His first win came at the 2013 Turkish Airlines Open and he went on to secure seven top ten finishes to rank sixth in the 2013 Race to Dubai standings. Dubuisson, who was also part of the victorious 2014 Ryder Cup team, has amassed more than 9Million Euro’s in career earnings on the European Tour, and will play 14 TaylorMade clubs.

IVAN CANTERO

After a stellar amateur career which saw him reach #3 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings Cantero turned pro in 2017 before earning his debut on the European Tour at the end of 2018 after progressing through the Final Stage of Qualifying School. Cantero will take part in his full European Tour rookie year in 2019 and will be equipped with a full bag of TaylorMade clubs and TP5x Golf Ball.

EWEN FERGUSON

Also re-joining TeamTaylorMade with a full bag of equipment and TP5x golf ball is Ewen Ferguson. After turning pro in 2016, Ferguson made his European Tour debut at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship where he successfully made the cut. Ferguson starts his 2019 season on the Challenge Tour where he will be aiming for a top 15 spot to qualify automatically for the European Tour, following a promising 2018 where he had seven top ten finishes. Ferguson boasts a successful amateur record which included wins in the Scottish Boys, Scottish Strokeplay and British Boys Championships and capped off his amateur career selected as the youngest member of the victorious 2015 GB&I Walker Cup Team.

PAUL MCGINLEY

European Tour and Ryder Cup legend Paul McGinley re-joins TeamTaylorMade. McGinley who has four European Tour victories to his name now plays the majority of his golf on the Staysure Tour in between his Sky Sports punditry commitments. McGinley, arguably most famous for his Ryder Cup pedigree emphasised by him leading the European Team to victory at Gleneagles in 2014, will be equipped with a TP5 golf ball, a full bag of TaylorMade equipment and act as a highly regarded role model for the aspiring younger members of TeamTaylorMade.

Kaymer, Herbert, Dubuisson, Cantero, Ferguson and McGinley join a strong contingent of European Tour athletes as part of TeamTaylorMade including Haotong Li, David Lipsky, Gavin Green, Romain Langasque, Guido Migliozzi, Maxmilian Schmitt and Robert MacIntryre.
