SRIXON’S MIYU YAMASHITA WINS FIRST CAREER TITLE AT AIG WOMEN’S OPEN

In a breakout moment during her rookie season on the LPGA Tour, Miyu Yamashita captured her first career victory, and her first major title at the 2025 AIG Women’s Open.

Yamashita opened the championship in dominant form, carding rounds of 68 and 65 to build a commanding lead through 36 holes. Despite a challenging third-round 74, the 24-year-old from Japan showed remarkable poise, maintaining a one-stroke lead heading into Sunday’s final round.

She sealed the win with a composed 2-under 70, carding just a single bogey on the day. The unflappable Yamashita leads the LPGA Tour in Scrambling at 66.42%, a strength that was on full display this week at Royal Porthcawl. In addition to her short game brilliance with her Cleveland Golf RTZ Wedges, she also hit over 77% of Greens in Regulation, relying on her combo set of ZXi Irons to navigate the demanding links layout.

Joining her on the 18th green to celebrate were fellow Srixon Staffers Minami Katsu and Rio Takeda, who also delivered standout performances, both finishing inside the top 5.

Here’s a look at what Miyu Yamashita used to win the AIG Women’s Open:
