SkyCaddie extends PGA Partner agreement

SkyCaddie has extended its PGA Partner agreement for a further two years, strengthening the long-standing relationship between the two parties. SkyCaddie will also become support sponsor for the PGA Fourball Championship, having previously been a headline sponsor of the popular competition.

Under the PGA Partner arrangement, SkyCaddie has provided a special PGA Member retail offer. The agreement also enables SkyCaddie to showcase its other new golf technologies, including the innovative SkyPro swing analyser and the awaited SkyTrak personal launch monitor and golf simulator.

Jacqui Surman (pictured), SkyCaddie’s senior vice-president of international sales and marketing stated,“SkyCaddie has enjoyed an excellent and long-standing relationship with the PGA, going back to when the Association first took the step to allow the use of distance measuring devices (DMDs) in its events. Our partnership started with The PGA Fourball Championship, and we are delighted to renew not only our PGA Partner agreement, but also our support sponsorship of this much-loved event for a further two years.”

PGA chief executive Sandy Jones added, “Technology has helped improve the enjoyment of golf for millions of golfers and nowhere more so than with distance measuring devices. SkyCaddie is a valued part of our PGA Partner scheme and the two year extension reflects the strong relationship. We are also delighted to have their on-going support for the PGA Fourball Championship which remains one of the most popular events with PGA Members.”
