SAUSAGE GOLF RETURNS WITH NEW LIMITED RELEASE OF MODULAR PUTTER DESIGNS

Sausage Golf has made its distinctive modular putter designs available once again, with a new limited release of both the Boudin Noir and Design no. 2 now on sale following the rapid sell-out of its first two production batches.

Previously available only in small quantities, Sausage Golf putters have built a committed following among golfers drawn to precision design, genuine adjustability and a clear focus on feel. With both models now available exclusively via SausageGolf.com, golfers have the opportunity to secure one of a limited number of putters while stocks last.

At the heart of the release is the Boudin Noir — a modern modular putter designed to give golfers meaningful choice in how their putter is set up and how it feels in their hands. Fully designed in-house from first sketch to final prototype, the Boudin Noir is machined from aerospace-grade 6061 aluminium and finished in a matte black anodised coating, with a clean optic white alignment aid.

The assembled headweight is 365 grams and the putter is built for both right- and left-handed golfers. Thanks to Sausage Golf’s interchangeable shaft module system, the Boudin Noir can be configured toe-hung, face-balanced or low torque, allowing golfers to adapt the putter to their stroke rather than forcing a single fixed set-up. The modular system is patent pending.

While the engineering is central to the design, feel remains the guiding principle of Sausage Golf. With the Boudin Noir, the brand has intentionally avoided over-dampening feedback, instead focusing on giving golfers clear information through the hands at impact. The result is a putter that delivers a more connected experience through the stroke.

Alongside the Boudin Noir, Sausage Golf has also released a small batch of the Design no. 2 — the original model that formed the foundation of the brand’s modular philosophy. The model is CNC milled from solid 303 stainless steel, offering a dense, responsive feel and a stripped-back aesthetic with a square topline, simple white alignment mark and raw stainless finish.

Design no. 2 is available with a 360g headweight and can be built for right- or left-handed players. Like the Boudin Noir, it features a modular construction that allows golfers to choose between toe-hung and face-balanced configurations by changing the shaft position within the head.

Dave Rowles, Creator & Co-Founder of Sausage Golf, said:

“The response to our first two releases told us everything we needed to know; golfers understood what we were trying to do and they valued the ability to genuinely tune a putter to their stroke and feel preferences.

“Boudin Noir and Design no. 2 represent our core philosophy of considered design, meaningful adjustability and feedback through the hands. Making them available again — even in limited numbers — allows us to stay true to how we want to build Sausage Golf while giving more golfers the opportunity to experience them.”

Both putters are completed with a classic pistol grip, designed for its neutral shape and ability to enhance feel. Subtle detailing — including an alignment reference at the base of the grip on the Boudin Noir — supports the low-torque set-up without adding visual clutter at address.

Sausage Golf is a family-run start-up born from a background in yacht design and precision engineering, with roots spanning Manchester and the Côte d’Azur. Every putter is designed and prototyped in-house, produced in small batches and finished by hand to ensure each piece reflects the brand’s emphasis on craftsmanship and considered design.
