Rose Zhang marked her name in the record books after she became the first player in 72 years to win on the LPGA in her professional debut.
Equipped with a Paradym Triple Diamond Driver, Apex Irons, Jaws Raw Wedges, an Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Putter and a Chrome Soft X Golf Ball, Rose claimed the Mizuho Americas Open after a thrilling playoff.
In recent weeks, Rose had become the first woman ever to win back-to-back NCAA individual championships whilst finishing as the #1 Amateur in the world. The 20-year-old then made the decision to embark upon her journey as a professional and has wasted little time joining the winner’s circle.
Rose, who joined #TeamCallaway at the age of 13 as part of the Callaway Next programme, is clearly dialed in with her gear and earlier this week she said: “Callaway equipment has played such a big part in my success, and I know that this is the right decision for me. I’ve used their clubs and golf ball in every one of my wins since I was a junior, and that gives me so much confidence when I’m out on the course.”
