PRG selected as Official Team Supplier to both Ryder Cup Teams

PRG, one of the world’s leading suppliers of innovative, high-quality bespoke golf accessories, is delighted to have been appointed as an Official Team Supplier to both Europe and US Ryder Cup Teams for the 43rd Ryder Cup matches to be held at Whistling Straits in September 2021.

Having supplied The US Ryder Cup Team for the last two instalments of the biennial trans-Atlantic contest, PRG has added Team Europe to its client list, becoming one of only two brands selected to supply both Ryder Cup teams.

“It’s a tremendous honour to be selected as an Official Supplier for both Ryder Cup teams,” said PRG founder and PGA professional Stephen Riley. “We’ve been delighted to work with the U.S Ryder Cup team over the last four years and it’s testament to the quality of our products and a great commendation for us to have Team Europe come on board too. The Ryder Cup is one of golf’s most prestigious events and to be a part of it is hugely exciting.”

PRG will produce a range of bespoke accessories for both Europe and US Ryder Cup Teams including headcovers, alignment stick covers, yardage book covers, umbrellas and tote bags. Featuring sophisticated design and the very best in craftsmanship, the Ryder Cup accessories will showcase the exceptionally high standard of product offered by PRG.

PRG’s agreement to provide accessories for the Europe Ryder Cup Team is for three instalments of the historic event – 2021, 2023 and 2025.

As well as providing products for the teams, some of the Replica products will also be available to buy from The Official European Ryder Cup Online Store and other select retailers. In addition, PRG has been granted a license to use the Ryder Cup registered trademarks on premium Vanto products which will include the creation of a new collection of accessories featuring the Trophy logo.

The 43rd Ryder Cup will take place at Whistling Straits between September 21st and 26th, 2021. One of golf’s most iconic events, the biennial contest between the USA and Europe generates massive excitement amongst both players and fans of the sport. The USA leads the series by 26 to 14 with two ties between the sides. Europe will defend the Cup, having run out as 17.5 to 10.5 winners at Le Golf National in 2018.

This year’s contest takes place at the magnificent Whistling Straits on the shores of Lake Michigan. The fabulous Pete Dye links-style design has previously played host to three USPGA Championships as well as a U.S. Senior Open.

PRG designs and manufactures bespoke golf accessories of the highest quality while striving to keep a balance with affordability. Working with a broad spectrum of international clients, the company continues to display versatility and adaptability to meet specific customer requirements.

This unparalleled attention to detail has led to PRG’s reputation within the industry and has resulted in the company working with some of the most prestigious resorts, brands and events in the world of golf as it continues to evolve and move forward with an extensive and ever-growing range of products. From brassware to leather, headcovers, towels and much more, PRG, is committed to using the best materials and unrivalled workmanship to create golfing accessories and memorabilia of the very highest standard.

“It’s attention to detail across the board that sets PRG apart,” said Stephen Riley. “We take great pride in our overseeing the entire manufacturing process from start-to-finish with all our products and strive to deliver the highest quality and finest workmanship.”
