Peter Millar voted Apparel Supplier of the Year at annual TGI Golf Awards

Luxury golf lifestyle brand, Peter Millar enjoyed a stellar evening at the recent TGI Golf annual awards dinner, capturing the 2018 ‘Apparel Supplier of the Year’ award in recognition of its outstanding apparel range and impeccable customer service.

Held at the prestigious Trump Turnberry Resort, TGI Golf’s supplier awards are voted for by the group’s 500 plus partners across the UK & Ireland through its supplier survey, where brands are rated in a number of different categories.

Peter Millar was also nominated in the coveted ‘Supplier of the Year’ category. This is, in itself, an impressive achievement when considering the brand’s selective distribution within the group, compared to the leading hardware brands.

Mark Hilton, Peter Millar’s International Managing Director commented, “We are incredibly proud to have won this award as it recognises what was a very prosperous year for the brand, as well as the hard work and passion that resonates through our entire team.”

“This is the second time we have claimed this award and we’d like to thank all of the TGI Golf partners who voted for us. We are committed to enhancing our product range and renowned customer service in the years to come and, of course, retaining our title in 2019.”

Founded in 2001, the Peter Millar line of golf lifestyle clothing and accessories has become, in just a few years, the standard bearer for discerning and demanding individuals on the golf course, in the office and on the town. The Peter Millar product line embraces timeless style with a modern flair and a keen attention to detail, emphasising bright colours, bold interpretations of classic patterns and luxury fabrications from some of the finest mills in the world.

Eddie Reid, TGI Golf Managing Director, said: “Every one of TGI Golf’s Supplier Awards is voted for by the Partners via our annual Supplier Survey, which gives added gravitas to the winners. Each supplier is scored by its stockists on a number of categories ranging from product quality and customer service to delivery times and returns policy.

“Peter Millar once again scored tremendously well across the board with its long-standing commitment to product quality and customer service giving the retailer real confidence in the brand and this was reflected by Peter Millar being crowned Apparel Supplier of the Year.”
