ORIGINAL PENGUIN AMBASSADORS CELEBRATE MAIDEN MAJOR INVITES AFTER SEALING STANDOUT TOUR VICTORIES

Original Penguin® Golf is celebrating two of its brand ambassadors booking their places in this season’s Majors, after Mason Andersen and Jake Knapp both achieved standout Tour victories in consecutive weeks.

Hot on the heels of Jake Knapp booking his place at The Masters, after winning the Mexico Open on the PGA Tour, fellow ambassador, Mason Andersen, entered the winner’s circle at last weekend’s 117 Visa Argentina Open on the Korn Ferry Tour, guaranteeing him at spot in The Open at Royal Troon, Scotland.

Both players will be joining fellow Original Penguin® Brand Ambassador, Cameron Smith, at each tournament, with Cam seeking out his second Major title, after winning the 2022 Open at St Andrews.

Knapp’s victory also secured him a spot in the PGA Championship and the five remaining PGA TOUR Signature Events.

Oscar Feldenkreis, President and CEO of Perry Ellis International, commented: “Mason and Jake’s wins are testament to their exceptional talent and dedication to their craft. We are thrilled to see them achieve this success and are honored to have them as part of the Original Penguin family. Their victories underscore our shared commitment to excellence, and we look forward to celebrating many more successes together.”

Andersen and Knapp’s winning look included Original Penguin’s Spring 2024 collection featuring its new Re-Originals sustainable fabrication. These eco-friendly polos are crafted with 30% recycled polyester and use a double-knit high-gauge fabrication for superior performance.

For over 60 years, Original Penguin®, and its namesake icon Pete the Penguin, has been adorned and adored by the masters of leisure and sport to define itself as an American classic. Today, the Penguin icon still stands as a signal for those who know how to be an original and what you wear for the good times.
