ORIGINAL PENGUIN AMBASSADOR ESTHER HENSELEIT DEBUTS NEW AW24 COLLECTION AT AIG WOMEN’S OPEN

Original Penguin Golf ambassador Esther Henseleit begins her quest for the AIG Women’s Open title at St Andrews this week, while exclusively debuting the brand’s new Autumn/Winter 24 apparel.

A runner-up at last week’s ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open at Dundonald Links, Esther has chosen a host of bold and bright, high-performance pieces from the AW24 collection as she competes across the hallowed turf of the Old Course, in search of Major success.

Original Penguin is famous for being unique, fun and detail-oriented and AW24 takes inspiration from French icons Brigitte Bardot and Catherine Deneuve with strong colours and standout feminine designs across a collection of polos, pullovers, skorts and trousers.

Brought together perfectly with a series of retro florals and optical retro geometric patterns, Esther’s scripting includes the Lightweight Hoodie Colourblock Vest in Bright White, Floral Print Crew Sweater in a striking Purple Cactus Flower colour, a short-sleeve Colourblock Polo and two Long Sleeve Sun Protection tops.

All will be matched to high-performance, insulated Thermal Pants (Black Iris colour) and skorts (Purple Cactus Flower and Black Iris).

Helen Willsmer, Brand Director of Original Penguin Golf, commented: “We wish Esther all the very best for this week in St Andrews and look forward to her showcasing our bold new ladies collection to the world. AW24 sees an even greater depth given to our layering products and it’s wonderful that Esther has chosen some of these standout garments for one of the biggest weeks in women’s professional golf.”

Standout layering products from AW24 include the Insulated Woven Full-Zip Jacket, benefitting from a water-repellent finish and a left chest PETE heat-seal sticker logo, and an all-new Insulated Vest with PrimaLoft, featuring side pockets and side knit panels, a perfect wardrobe staple for the active female golfer.
