OCEANTEE becomes a member of TGI Golf

OCEANTEE has become a partner of the TGI Group as part of the sustainable golf brand’s ambitions to bring their products and their mission to even more golfers this year.

OCEANTEE is committed to protecting the ocean, reducing plastic pollution and creating products that are good for players and the planet. In just 4 years OCEANTEE has sold over 10 million of its award-winning bamboo tees; a figure that demonstrates how the company’s passion for sustainability has changed golf buying habits for the better.

“There are two things that people miss when they consider stocking OCEANTEE products.  Firstly, we are not just a tee brand!  And secondly, you don’t have to compromise on quality or performance to be sustainable,” comments Founder of OCEANTEE Ed Sandison. “Everything we create is good for the planet, but also good for players and good for businesses too. We are delighted to be working with TGI – the team has a genuine interest in sustainability, and we’re looking forward to supporting their amazing network of partners across the UK and Ireland.”

OCEANTEE, who are also a PGA Partner and an Official Sustainability Partner of the DP World Tour, now offers a full range of golf accessories and apparel, all of which can be customised. Princes Golf Club and Woburn Golf Club are amongst some of the venues stocking its customised range, some of which has also been seen at tournaments including the DP World Tour Championship and AIG Women’s British Open.

TGI Partners will be able to purchase the entire accessories range from TGI Direct from the beginning of February. The company has made the offer very attractive by keeping minimum order quantities low, even for customised products, whilst ensuring that all margins are competitive. There is also a competitively priced starter pack for TGI Partners which will make introducing the brand seamless.

“Sustainability is something we have looked at for some time and how we can implement into our business, so it has been fascinating to learn more about the subject from Ed and his team over the last few months,” comments Managing Director of TGI Group Eddie Reid.

“OCEANTEE has a unique offer which we are thrilled to bring to TGI Golf Partners. The product range is fantastic and combines the performance that golfers are looking for with materials that are less damaging for the planet.

“It has become clear that more and more golfers are thinking about the environment when they make their purchases which is why OCEANTEE is enjoying so much success in the market. It is vitally important that our Partners adapt to these consumer trends.”

Retailers outside of the group are also able to buy direct from OCEANTEE.  Any interested parties should contact sophie@oceanteegolf.com.
