New PowaKaddy FW7s rolling off the shelves

PowaKaddy has announced that it has made a flying start to 2016, with its flagship FW7s model accounting for a 52 per cent increase in sales of its FW7 predecessor.

The latest announcement points towards a remarkable reaction to the feature-packed FW7s, which has been significantly enhanced for 2016 with new features such as a 3.5” Widescreen full Colour Display stacked with cutting-edge technology. Re-branded as the FW7s to highlight its sporty and stylish appearance, the highly-intelligent trolley can even tell golfers how many calories they’ve burned in a round.

Headlining PowaKaddy’s 2016 Freeway range – which also includes striking new FW3 and FW5 models – the launch of the FW7s has been backed with a 3-year warranty to help emphasize the outstanding reliability and product quality on offer to golfers. As with every model in the brand’s latest range, the FW7s can be powered by PowaKaddy Lithium batteries, which boast 20 per cent more staying power than average Lithium units.

“We’ve been delighted by the response we’ve had to the FW7s,” said John deGraft-Johnson, PowaKaddy Chairman. “We knew from our research that there are a lot of golfers out there who like multiple features and who demand the ultimate in style and appearance, however it’s fair to say the launch has more than exceeded our expectations.

“The feedback we’ve had so far from retailers and golfers suggests the new technology, particularly  within the screen, has struck a real chord with golfers, which is testament to the hard work carried out by our R&D team over the past few years,” added deGraft-Johnson. “And there’s no doubt the added reassurance of the three year warranty is convincing more and more golfers that they’re making a really sound investment with the FW7s.”

The top-of-the-range trolley – which can also be purchased with an optional Electronic Braking System – features a bespoke engineered low-profile PowaFrame that ensures extra strength and robustness, whilst reducing overall weight.  The latest model has been fitted with a new Rear Diffuser that comes in classy Brushed Silver and Carbon Graphite Colour options.

The FW7s also incorporates new graphics on its resilient frame, which has one of the simplest and strongest 3-way folding systems on the market. Yellow highlights have also been introduced to a number of trolley parts, such as the frame, handle, bag supports and wheels giving it a super sporty look.

The FW7s is available in a Titanium frame with the choice of a Carbon Graphite or Brushed Silver trim, and is priced from £469.99. For more information, visit
