MOTOCADDY WINS BIG IN GOLF MEDIA AWARDS

Motocaddy, the UK’s top selling electric trolley brand, has won nine product accolades at the most recent UK golf media awards, selected by the market’s leading industry publications, Golf Monthly and Today’s Golfer, for their prestigious 2023 Editor’s Choice awards.

The highly sought-after honours are chosen by a team of experts at both publications which include the Editorial team and equipment gurus with nominations included in various categories by merit alone.

“We are delighted to have been recognised by two of the most well-respected publications in the industry for the quality and consistency of our product range,” said Motocaddy Marketing Director, Oliver Churcher.

“Our designers and engineers work tirelessly to create products that make the game of golf more enjoyable for everyone, and to see their hard work rewarded pays testament to the standards we set for ourselves. We are always trying to push the boundaries of what can be achieved, so despite these awards, we will work even harder to ensure our future product lines meet the high expectations of our customers,” he added.

Both Golf Monthly and Today’s Golfer selected the M7 GPS in their respective ‘Best Trolley’ category with Golf Monthly noting the ‘class-leading embedded GPS’ makes it stand out from its competitors. The trolley’s access to over 40,000 pre-loaded courses, combined with a remote handset and anti-tip wheel give it a competitive edge’ with the Today’s Golfer judging panel saying “The M7 offers everything a golfer needs to get around the course effortlessly”.

In the same competitive category, the new S5 GPS was selected by both publications thanks to its state-of-the-art GPS system with touchscreen monitor. The first ‘smart cart’ in the brand’s S-Series range was lauded by both selection panels for its easy-to-use one-step folding system and innovative GPS touchscreen with drag and drop pin placement.

Reviewing the S5 GPS, Golf Monthly Editors said, “The full-hole maps with movable pointer have a huge impact on optimising strategy, especially when it comes to avoiding hazards and picking the perfect lay-up position on par 5s”.

The ever-popular CUBE push trolley was also selected by Today’s Golfer for an award thanks to its portability and the EASILOCK system that allows it to seamlessly transport Motocaddy bags including the versatile HydroFLEX stand model and sought after Pro-Series cart bag that were both also winners in their respective categories.

Also picking up awards from Golf Monthly, the five-star rated PROTEKTA noise-reducing organiser cart bag has been praised for its high-quality materials and excellent storage solutions with new Equipment Editor, Dan Parker claiming “It’s one of the most practical cart bags we’ve ever tested.” The Golf Monthly judging panel also selected the brand new Flightsafe travel bag for an award thanks to its ‘unrivalled protection and innovative extra hood cover that conveniently doubles up as a storage box when the case is not in use’.

Motocaddy was also recognised for excellence in the trade by Foremost Golf’s 1,000 PGA head professionals as they voted the compact and user-friendly M1 model as the ‘Best Trolley Model of the Year’ for the second year in-a-row, with the M5 GPS coming in a close second place.

“For the M1 to win the Trolley Model of the Year award for consecutive years is very special and even more so as it’s voted for by our valued retail partners and we thank Foremost members for the award,” added Churcher.
