LIMITED EDITION STAN SMITH X VICE GOLF BRINGS BOLD STYLE TO ICONIC FOOTWEAR

adidas love to provide fresh takes on their classic silhouettes. They’ve teamed up with Vice Golf on another fun collaboration to introduce the Stan Smith x Vice Golf, a limited-edition footwear model that will speak to golfers everywhere. Inspired by the unmistakable colorways that make Vice golf balls so unique, this version of the Stan Smith Golf provides an eye-catching design to their signature model.

The Stan Smith x Vice Golf footwear is built from the same tooling that exists in the Stan Smith Golf shoe that was introduced early last year. It features an adiwear rubber spikeless outsole with traction inspired by the shoe’s original sole design and they reinforced the shoe in the medial and lateral sides to provide additional stability throughout the golf swing. The classic design makes it one of the most versatile shoes in the adidas range. The difference with this model is that they collaborated with Vice Golf on a playful and bold style to match the colorways of their distinctive high performance golf balls.

“Beyond the fact that we are both German companies, we see a lot of similarities in the way Vice approaches our sport from a design and performance standpoint,” said Masun Denison, global footwear director. “The great thing about the Stan Smith Golf silhouette is that it’s the perfect canvas to play with color and we’re excited for everyone to see these bold colorways on such a versatile shoe.”

The Stan Smith x Vice Golf footwear will come in three colorways: solar red, signal green and white tint. Golfers will notice that the adidas 3-Stripes and Vice Golf logo appear on the medial side of the left and right shoes, respectively. Embossed on the heel is Vice Golf’s company mantra, ‘embrace your vice,’ and it wouldn’t be a Stan Smith Golf shoe without the signature endorsement patch from Stan Smith, which is featured on the tongue. The material for the upper is also made with recycled materials while still offering a one-year waterproof warranty.

The Stan Smith x Vice Golf limited edition will be available in limited quantities on adidas.com, the adidas app, vicegolf.com, and at select retailers worldwide beginning March 25.
