JAMES GUNNING APPOINTED SOUTH EAST SALES AGENT FOR BIG MAX

Experienced golf retail expert James Gunning has been appointed as sales agent for BIG MAX in the South of England. Working with Manchester based Worldwide Golf Brands, James will cover Hampshire, Berkshire, Sussex, Surrey & Kent showcasing golf bags, push trolleys and accessories from Europe’s leading push trolley and bag brand.

James brings a wealth of experience to the role having started as an assistant Professional at Woldingham Golf Club in 1999. James then progressed through positions at Walton Heath and Effingham Golf Club where he achieved his PGA Director of Golf qualification. Building on his significant experience of golf retail on the buying side, James has now shifted his focus with the creation of his golf sales agency, Par Golf.

“It’s been quite a change being on this side of the counter, but I’m relishing the challenge,” commented James upon his appointment. “As a retailer, I had to understand the needs of my customers and then negotiate the very best deal with suppliers. The principles are exactly the same now. The big advantage I have is that the quality of the bags, trolleys travel covers and accessories really is second to none. That’s the first thing that every customer wants, and I’m looking forward to showing that I understand their business, and that BIG MAX can be an important part of it.”

“James has a fantastic track record in the business and he’s shown a great understanding of our customers,” added Graeme Stevens, M.D. at Worldwide Golf Brands. “BIG MAX does great business with retailers that want to provide their customers with the very best products, and James’ network of contacts are the ideal customers for such a quality brand.”

James has already made his first calls on behalf of BIG MAX and will be broadening his outreach over coming weeks. If anyone in his territory would like to discuss BIG MAX, James can be contacted on 07968 441914 and at james@pargolfagency.com
