Professional golfer-turned-broadcaster announced as new Brand Ambassador

Callaway has announced the signing of broadcaster and professional golfer Inci Mehmet as a new Brand Ambassador.

Inci (26) has continued to retain her playing rights on the Ladies European Tour, while becoming a highly respected analyst, commentator and presenter across Sky Sports’ golf coverage.

Prior to building a successful career in front of the camera, Inci made her name as an up-and-coming natural talent in the game.

She was awarded a scholarship to Wentworth in Surrey, where she became the youngest ever ladies club champion at just 15-years-old.

Inci also represented England throughout her career, as part of the Elite England Golf Girls Squad, and subsequently progressed into the Women’s Squad.

“This partnership feels so good and I’m incredibly proud to be a Callaway Brand Ambassador,” said Inci. “I played with Callaway equipment for the majority of my playing career and loved it, especially ever since the launch of Jailbreak Technology. The fact that the company’s aspirations align with mine means it gives us the freedom for the relationship to blossom, targeting new and exciting projects together.”

The new relationship between Callaway and Inci kicks off with the Slingsby Gin “Get Into Golf” series. This six-part series is dedicated to new golfers, where Inci shares useful tips on how to take your game from the practice range to the golf course. The series will be shared on both the Callaway Europe and Slingsby Gin social channels over the coming weeks.

Neil Howie, President and Managing Director, Callaway EMEA, added: “Inci is breath of fresh air in the world of golf and we are proud to welcome her as an ambassador. She has an amazing work ethic, a bright personality, and we look forward to working with her across our market-leading brands to engage new audiences.”
