Graeme McDowell triumphs in Saudi Arabia

Srixon staff player, Graeme McDowell, ended a 2,037 day wait to capture his 11th European Tour title on Sunday at The Saudi International, played at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club.

Challenging final day conditions saw the 40 year old draw on his expertise of playing in windy conditions, to card a closing round of 70 and claim a hard fought two-shot victory over the defending champion.

The victory means McDowell has now won in three different decades on the European Tour. It also moves him up to 3rd in the season-long Race to Dubai Rankings and most importantly back inside the top 50 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
