The new Vision Brake electric trolley from UK-based company Golfstream is packed with premium performance features, including a new electronic braking system, full-colour display unit, and the fastest one-click folding mechanism in the business, yet it still comes at a price below its market rivals.

It’s also one of the most compact electric trolleys money can buy, folding down to just 59cm x 28cm x 86cm to fit in the smallest spaces and car boots, while a magnetic latch holds the trolley together whilst being carried to allow hassle-free transportation.

A distance control function allows the trolley to be sent away for distances of 10, 20 and 30 metres, while its speed can be adjusted on the dial from as slow as 0.5 up to a decidedly rapid 9.5 in increments of 0.5, so that you can perfectly match it to your pace, rather than the trolley dictating how fast you have to walk. The new electronic braking system ensures that your trolley will only creep slowly down even severe slopes and inclines – enabling you to always keep in full control.

The new full-colour screen, which sits on the centre of the handle unit, can be personalised with a golfer’s details, while there is a ‘simplicity’ mode accessed through the button on the handle for golfers who just want to get on with their game with the minimum of fuss.

An 18-hole lithium CaddyCell LifePO4 battery, is supplied as standard, and sits in a sleek power platform that is conveniently designed to take almost all other popular brands of batteries. It drives a 200w whisper-quiet motor that will carry your clubs with ease across all terrains. There is also a 36-hole LifePO4 battery for golfers wishing to play more golf on a single charge.

CaddyCell batteries include a USB charging point for GPS devices, mobile phones, and other gadgets that might need a power boost during the course of a round, and they come with a no-quibble, three-year guarantee.

As with all Golfstream trolleys, the Vision holds your golf bag firmly in place by using the side arms, rather than balancing it on the central spine, avoiding unnecessary ‘bag wobble’ over bumpy ground, while a non-clogging front wheel, combined with easily detachable main wheels, ensure that cleaning and servicing is also a simple task.

Its high-grip PU tyres are five times more durable than normal tyres, ensuring the Vision Brake provides a super-smooth, cushioned ride for your clubs and valuables.

Boasting eye-catching yellow accents, the colour scheme can be quickly swapped to any one of five other colours from Golfstream’s range, including red, dark blue, light blue, black and green.

The Golfstream Vision Brake, which comes with a two-year parts and labour guarantee, has an RRP of just £499 (€599) – without a battery, £599 (€729) – with an 18-hole lithium battery or £649 (€799) – for the 36-hole battery.

It is available to purchase online, and through carefully selected retailers and pro shops.
