Golf Brands Inc appoints new European Sales Manager

Golf Brands Inc, one of the major multi-brand golf distribution companies, which handles leading equipment brands such was Ram, Zebra, Teardrop and Ben Hogan, has appointed experienced industry professional Keith Dicker as its new European Sales Manager.

Dicker joins Golf Brands from golf apparel and footwear brand Duca del Cosma, where in his role as sales manager he was instrumental in setting up the Italian-owned company’s EMEA distribution network featuring a variety of retail outlets in 23 countries.

Dicker has enjoyed a 27-year career in the golf industry, starting out as a sales representative with Hippo in 1996, before being promoted to UK Sales Director in 1999. In 2005 he left to set up and run his own golf sourcing and supply chain company, before serving as UK/European Sales Manager at Hi-Tec between 2009-14. He subsequently set up his own sales consultancy, working with brands such as a Calvin Klein Golf and Big Max, before joining Duca Del Cosma in January 2020.

Speaking about new role at Golf Brands, Dicker said: “I am extremely excited about joining Golf Brands sales team. These are very exciting times for this fast-growing company and developing our brands in key European territories is pivotal to future success. It’s my aim to convince more retail outlets to stock our impressive product line up, including the exciting new range Ben Hogan Golf equipment, and help increase profitability and retailer margins at the same time.”

He added: “I’m really looking forward to drawing on my wealth of experience and contacts in golf retail across the continent and working alongside our highly experienced sales team to help drive the business forward. Golf is still enjoying a boom across Europe, so it’s a good time to working with a company which offers equipment that is not only well received and extremely affordable for consumers, yet still offers great margins for retailers.”

Commenting on Dicker’s appointment, James Millington, Chief Operating Officer at Golf Brands, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have Keith head up our European sales team. He brings a wealth of experience and contacts to the role, and we believe he can make a big difference to our existing distribution in the region. We’ve got such a new and diverse range and together with exciting retail opportunities to help our network of retailers move forward in 2024 and beyond, I know that Keith is the right man to make that happen.”

Dicker, along with the Golf Brands team, will be at the PGA Show in Orlando (Booth #2301) from January 23-26, where retailers can check out the full range of equipment brands – including the all-new Ben Hogan range, and the latest line up of clubs from Ram, Zebra and Teardrop – all in a booth space that is 50 per cent bigger than last year’s PGA Show.
