Glenmuir, the renowned Scottish golf clothing brand, has pushed the boundaries of sustainable knitwear technology by introducing a waterproof Touch of Cashmere knitwear collection and performance outerwear in its Autumn Winter 2023 (AW23) collection. The striking colour stories continue for AW23 with on trend colours Amethyst and Marine Green as well as classic colours Tahiti and Candy.

Glenmuir has taken their signature Touch of Cashmere zip neck golf sweaters and injected cutting edge German Bionic water-repellent technology. This results in unique knitwear pieces which are breathable, showerproof, stretch, soft to touch and anti-pill. g.Solway is knitted into a herringbone texture with an elegant placket consisting of mock suede zip jets and an embossed mock leather zip puller. Combining a classic birdseye knit with contemporary colour blocks on the shoulders and side panels is g.Strathern, whilst a sporty take on knitwear is exemplified in g.Biggar with a combination on marl and solid colour blocking and ribbed highlight stripes. This new collection meets the needs of the modern discerning golfer offering full versatility to play in all seasons.

For ladies’ golf knitwear, g.Becca and g.Jody are extremely elegant ladies designs, g.Becca fuses rib and cable knitting techniques to create a directional pattern on the front body with silver lurex tipping detail whilst g.Ellis has an intricately ribbed design creating a pattern of diamonds. The g.Cassidy Zip neck sweater has a beautiful birdseye argyle on the front body, a contemporary take on traditional golf wear style. Each piece of knitwear is hand-knitted by craftsmen with stitches linked manually resulting in a long-lasting perfect fit and resilient flat seams and have the same Bionic water-repellent technology giving them showerproof capabilities.

Brand new in the ladies’ lined sweaters category is g.Penelope, a beautiful piece of ladies’ Italian merino wool knitwear enhanced by adding soft touch lining for an extra wind resistant layer. It also features the Bionic water-repellent finish, a zipped neck and ribbed detail at the side seams, available in 3 colourways including Charcoal Marl, Navy Marl and Amethyst Marl.

Brand new for Autumn Winter are exciting new additions to Glenmuir’s golf midlayer collection. For men the g.Douglas is an stylish new midlayer design with a tonal marl and solid panelled design. Contrast tipping around the zip and a sleeve stripe detail provide a sharp and sporty aesthetic along with a ribbed hem and cuff for support and grip. It is both water and wind resistant and provides thermal properties whilst remaining breathable for optimum comfort.

In the men’s padded golf outerwear collection, we can now see the introduction of Glenmuir’s Tartan print. This first emerged through the g.Cuthberts  performance golf trouser and due to high demand can now be seen brand new for AW23 in the g.Callandar padded golf jacket. The option of Tartan/Navy has also been added to g.Elrick water repellent interlock jacket, part of the Storm Bloc outerwear collection.

For ladies’ new padded golf outerwear is a brand new style g.Ella, a full zip hooded hybrid jacket with padded zones. This sleek and stylish jacket is highly water repellent, windproof and breathable with 4 way stretch for enhanced freedom of movement. It provides warmth through the brushed fleece backing and also from the padded zones on the front and back which are elegantly embossed with a subtle animal print. It includes invisible side pockets, a silver diamanté zip puller and retro reflective branding and is available in 3 colour ways.

The ladies performance midlayer collection introduces g.Indy, a full zip fleece backed water repellent midlayer. Designed with flattering shaped seam details, invisible side pockets and a full front zip finished with a diamante zip puller. It is made with active functional performance fabric delivering thermoregulation and has 4 colour ways including Navy, Light Grey Marl, Black and Hot Pink.
