Galvin Green app gets you dressed

Golfers planning a round with their friends can now access a free app from Galvin Green that offers advice from the multi-layer golf clothing brand on what to wear in order to play at their best whatever the weather conditions displayed on the screen. The app allows golfers to challenge a friend to a game through SMS or email, plus opt in to a push notification function that reminds them of their recommended multi-layer outfit one day ahead of their game.

An innovative Dress for the Weather feature on the app offers three layering options from the latest Galvin Green collection to match against the varying degrees of potential showers, cold temperatures or bracing winds forecast – so preparing the golfer to face the elements in the most appropriate high-performance clothing on the market.

As part of the brand’s biggest-ever digital campaign aimed at serious golfers, Dress for the Weather alerts will be delivered every Thursday to more than two million golfers each month across Europe, so a decision on what to wear during the round can be taken well ahead of the weekend game. The app is free to download from Apple Store or Google Play.

Nicholai Stein, brand manager, stated, “The new app helps golfers stay ahead by layering up with the most effective clothing on the market.” More at: www.galvingreen.com/app2015
