Callaway has announced that it has signed Julien Brun following the most successful year of the Frenchman’s career.
Julien will use a full bag of the company’s products, including the new 2022 Rogue ST Driver, as he embarks on a debut season on the DP World Tour, having finished fourth on the Road to Mallorca Rankings last year.
The 29-year-old secured two Challenge Tour victories in 2021, with his first arriving on home soil at the Open de Bretagne in June. Several top-20 placings followed as Julien’s impressive run continued, before he came out on top once again at the Empordà Challenge.
Julien took his form into the season-ending Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final, where he finished tied for second, to cap his finest year in golf, since turning pro in 2015.
The Frenchman, who will be transitioning into his Callaway product over the coming weeks, said: “Callaway supported me through my best year since turning pro, so I’m thrilled to be back using their products once again this year and part of #TeamCallaway. I’m hungry for more success and believe the brand can help me achieve my goals.”
Peter Harrison, Director of Tour Relations, Callaway Europe, added: “Julien has played with Callaway for a number of years, including through college, so we were delighted to see him secure his first victories as a pro on the Challenge Tour. We’re looking forward to seeing his progress continue this year as a valued member of #TeamCallaway.”
