FootJoy named ‘Apparel Supplier of the Year’ at TGI Golf Awards

FootJoy, the #1 Shoe and Glove in Golf, continues its momentum in the apparel category after retaining the Apparel Supplier of the Year award at this year’s TGI Golf Partnership annual awards.

FJ was joined by leaders across the golf industry at Trump Turnberry where one of Europe’s leading golf retail services group met to celebrate the best brands and organisations supporting the UK & I golf industry. Championing its latest apparel offering, FJ retained the coveted Apparel Supplier of the Year award in recognition of the Performance Golf Apparel range and commitment to supporting its retail partners.

GLYN EVANS, FJ’S UK & IRELAND RETAIL GROUPS MANAGER, SAID:

“To be recognised with this award again by TGI partners is especially gratifying as it provides extra validation to the hard work and dedication of the wider FootJoy team in supporting our partners, and helps underline FootJoy’s position as a leader in golf.

“The world’s supply chain issues matched with the intensity of golf demand was undoubtedly unique, and we are very proud of the work with our on-course partners in how we were able to navigate and communicate through the year. It presents an exciting opportunity for the sport, and we look forward to building on this with our partners through the seasons to come.”

TGI Golf’s supplier awards are voted for by the group’s partners across the UK & Ireland through its extensive Supplier Survey, where brands are rated in a range of different categories. Utilising the globally recognised Net Promoter Score (NPS), Partners mark the brands they work with in a variety of categories such as product quality, customer service and marketing.

EDDIE REID, TGI GOLF MANAGING DIRECTOR, SAID:

“To win one of the TGI Golf Supplier Awards is a real feather in the cap for any brand as they are a straightforward vote by our Partners through our Supplier Survey.

“It has been a tough couple of years for everyone involved in the golf industry, particularly for the apparel sector, so for FootJoy to stand out from the crowd again this year is a great achievement. Congratulations to everyone involved at FootJoy and we look forward to continuing to work together to help our Partners.”

Building on the award, FootJoy’s Area Sales Managers now remain focused on supporting partners with the latest AW’22 range, which introduces all-new complementary technologies and apparel performance innovations to make every day playable.
