FOOTJOY ANNOUNCE NEW AREA SALES MANAGER FOR NORTH WEST ENGLAND

FootJoy has appointed Elliot Wilkins as its new Area Sales Manager for the North West region.

The appointment follows the recent retirement of his predecessor Bob Bardsley, who spent 18 years serving the FootJoy brand.

Wilkins has been involved in the golfing industry since the age of 16, gaining experience across a range of roles including club fitting, account management and most recently in sales for a fellow golf equipment manufacturer.

“I am incredibly excited to join the FootJoy team and am really relishing the opportunity to work alongside retailers across the North West region,” said Wilkins.

“I have always been interested in golf equipment, learning how it can impact a golfer’s performance and in my opinion, not many brands can compete with FJ when it comes to investment and innovation in this area.

“Seeing how the brand has elevated performance for golfers with the introduction of the FJ FitLab. Having three full- time Product Specialists on the road, educating golfers on how a well-fitted performance golf shoe can help them properly utilise the ground more effectively during the golf swing, shows a real commitment to wanting to support players by helping them take their game to a whole new level.

“I would like to use this opportunity to thank Bob Bardsley for the impact he has made during the years he has served the brand and I look forward to carrying on his work and helping FootJoy continue its success in 2026 and beyond.”

Wilkins joins FJ after a very successful first half to the year for the brand, which has seen both its footwear and glove categories continue to lead the way in the sector, alongside its apparel line that is continuing to see year- on-year growth.

Wilkins is available to be contacted via email at elliot_wilkins@acushnetgolf.com
