ECCO GOLF launches new more than a game series to shine a light on some of golfs greatest untold stories

Pioneering Danish golf footwear brand, ECCO GOLF, has launched a brand-new video series that features a variety of personalities who have dedicated their lives to the game of golf – highlighting why the sport is More Than A Game.

The series was launched on golf.ecco.com today, with the first episode showcasing the story of iconic female caddie, Fanny Sunesson, who broke boundaries in the game during an illustrious career on the bag of some of the world’s greatest golfers – including Sir Nick Faldo, Henrik Stenson, and Martin Kaymer.

A superb career saw Sunesson rack up an incredible 25 professional tournament wins, while she also caddied in six Ryder Cups and one Presidents Cup, making her the most successful female caddie in the history of golf. It’s these achievements which made her a fitting first subject for ECCO GOLF’s new flagship series.

Commenting on the inspiration behind the concept, Timo Vollrath, Global Marketing Manager at ECCO GOLF, said: “For us at ECCO GOLF, we know that golf is all about passion and enjoyment, which is why every step we take is committed to the game and beyond.

“We are dedicated to highlighting stories of those people who have gone the extra mile to pursue the sport they love, people for whom golf is MORE THAN A GAME. That’s why this new series is such an important project for us and one which we are very excited about launching.”

The full More Than A Game series will be landing on golf.ecco.com throughout the next year, and will feature personalities from all parts of the golfing world, as well as a number of ECCO GOLF’s Tour ambassadors.

ECCO GOLF shoes are worn in competition around the world by Henrik Stenson, Thomas Bjørn, Fred Couples, Erik van Rooyen, Lydia Ko, Minjee Lee and Caroline Masson, among others. For further information about ECCO GOLF, please visit golf.ecco.com.
