DORMIE WORKSHOP CUSTOMISED GOLF HEADCOVERS NOW AVAILABLE TO CLUBS IN THE UK & IRELAND ND

The Dormie Workshop brand is renowned for its premium quality, handmade, bespoke designs featured across its golf leather goods range. With customised covers found in pro-shops across the world and sitting proudly in the bags of pros (Brooks Keopka most recently) and players worldwide, Dormie is now offering their bespoke designs to clubs across the UK & Ireland.

From small beginnings in 2014, and a team of three, the success of Dormie’s golf leather goods has been meteoric. Now with 60 artisans and craftsman, working out of a 10,000 square foot facility in Nova Scotia, Canada they supply clubs all over North America, from bucket list courses like Seminole to municipal clubs like Goat Hill Park, where the green fee is just £25.

Whether a range of quality classics to more complex signature hole designs, every item is specifically tailored to the requirements of each club with the ultimate goal of increasing revenue and giving members and guests something truly unique that they simply can’t get anywhere else. Using only premium grade leathers, liners and stitching, there is nothing ‘mass’ market about what Dormie does – each item is a handmade piece of golf art in its own right and the industry agrees; Dormie has been awarded the ‘Best Leather Headcover’ by Golf Digest from 2017-2022.

Todd Bishop, co-founder of Dormie Workshops adds “We are unique in this sector on multiple levels, over and above material quality and designs. All steps of the process are in house, which ensures we can create bespoke covers in 3-4 weeks from an agreed design to production. There are no boundaries to what we can do for clubs – all we ask for is the opportunity and an open mind about letting our designers create something incredible!

“Expansion into the UK market has been kickstarted with a collaboration for St Andrews on two stunning signature driver covers of ‘Swilcan’ and ‘Road’, which are now available at their retail stores. We are already in the design stages with multiple other UK courses and are actively working to identify and connect with other clubs and pros that are interested in the Dormie difference for the 2024 season.

“We see a huge potential for Dormie in the UK. Our success is inherently linked to the success of the clubs we work with and we are excited about the potential to help pros and courses engage with their membership and visitors whilst increasing sales. To ensure a simple design and production process along with transparent landed costs in GBP, we have partnered with The Golf Tailor to manage our UK accounts. They provide a local point of contact for clubs from the design stages through to delivery and work in tandem with our in-house team.”
