Callaway introduces new Jaws Full Toe Wedges

Callaway has introduced new JAWS Full Toe Wedges, featuring a host of innovative spin and control technologies for the ultimate in playability around the greens.

Building on the phenomenal success of JAWS Mack Daddy 5 Wedges, used by many Callaway Staff Professionals around the world, JAWS Full Toe Wedges provide greater face area, an all-new raw hitting surface, and a more pronounced toe peak, to enhance performance.

Shorter shots around the green are now easier to hit, especially from the bunker and high flops, and mid to full shots offer greater accuracy, thanks to more efficient turf interaction from a specialised new C-Grind sole.

Offset Groove-In-Groove Technology also places a premium on spin control.

Milled micro grooves, combined with the aggressive JAWS configuration on the main grooves, help grab the ball’s cover more effectively, significantly increasing spin.

In order to create the best controllable trajectory, Callaway’s designers have also introduced a new JAWS Toe Pad into each head that pushes the CG higher, producing a more favourable ball flight.

Callaway’s Variable Weight Port System then pinpoints the CG away from the heel of the club, enhancing feel and aiding solid contact on every shot.

Dr Alan Hocknell, Vice President of Research and Development Callaway Golf, said: “When you are close to the green JAWS Full Toe Wedges generate huge levels of spin and control, meaning players of all abilities are going to have the confidence and enjoyment of going at the flag more often.”

Available in Raw Face Chrome and Raw Black models, right and left-handed, JAWS Full Toe Wedges come in the following options, featuring either True Temper Dynamic Gold Spinner steel shafts, or Project X Catalyst Wedge graphite shafts, with Lamkin UTx Grips:

  • Sand Wedge C-grind loft options (12° bounce): 54°, 56°
  • Lob Wedge C-grind loft options (10° bounce): 58°, 60°, 64°
