Brand Fusion open for business as usual

Brand Fusion International, Europe’s leading golf equipment distributor, is now open for business as usual with its hundreds of UK retail customers, after making the most of the lockdown period with sales of home practice golfing products 300% up on last year.

Both the 30,000 sq. ft. distribution warehouse in near Birmingham and offices in Leatherhead are fully operational to deal with orders for everything from Sun Mountain golf bags and trolleys and Volvik golf balls and rangefinders, to AXIS1 Rose putters and Sesame Street novelty headcovers.

“The warehouse was busy enough for us to retain a skeleton staff over the lockdown period, as we still had products ordered before the shutdown arriving from overseas, as well as strong demand for practice products like Putting Mats and Nets, plus other sports training items,” said Nigel Freemantle, Managing Director at  Brand Fusion International Ltd.

“But now we are back to having staff in full time work at both the warehouse and the office as orders are getting back to normal,” added Nigel. “All the staff are delighted to be back, as the two-month ‘holiday’ was about as much as they could cope with!”

Both the warehouse and the offices are observing the government’s social distancing and hygiene regulations, especially at the warehouse where picking and packing parcels and taking deliveries demand new protocol measures to protect staff and customers alike.

“We have good stocks of our best-selling lines and more deliveries arriving on a weekly basis to make sure the stock is there when needed, while most of the orders can be processed at the warehouse in the same day now that all the staff are back,” said Sales Director Tony Fletcher.

“All of our agents are working from home and are there to help with any enquiries and make customers aware of impending deliveries and new lines that continue to arrive. In future, we plan to integrate the recent video conferencing sessions more into our business -leading to less travel and a tangible saving on our carbon footprint,” he added.
