“Year on year, we uncover stories about women who are shaping the future of the industry.  The competition this year was incredibly fierce; any one of the finalists would have been a worthy winner,” commented Founder of the awards Nicole Wheatley.  “And while a celebration of today’s brightest stars is vital to the progression of women in the industry, it’s equally important that we recognise the women who came before us.  They have paved the way for women to access careers in every part of the sport, which is why the special recognition awards are so significant.”

The Women in Golf Awards continue to champion diversity, inclusion, and opportunity in golf, recognising individuals whose contributions inspire the next generation of players, leaders, and innovators.  The Awards foster visibility, recognition, and inspiration, ensuring women’s contributions to the sport are celebrated widely.

About the Women in Golf Awards

The Women in Golf Awards is an annual event celebrating the significant contribution that women, past and present, continue to make to the golf industry.  The event was established by Nicole Wheatley and Ben Blackburn whose combined experience in the golf world led them to identify a need to create a platform that would connect, celebrate and inspire the industry.  The Awards bring together women at all stages of their careers, from every sector, showing the diverse nature of the roles women hold in the industry.  To join the ballot visit www.womeningolfawards.co.uk
