Foremost expands digital marketing programme

Foremost Golf has announced it is to expand its portfolio of digital marketing services to include a lite version of the increasingly popular Elite Marketing Programme (EMP).

Available immediately, EMP Lite will be free of charge and provide a simple, easy to use service that supports the Elite Marketing Programme, of which there are currently 340 members.

As part of every member’s Foremost membership, the integrated digital retail service will provide personalised e-newsletters and websites utilising content produced by Foremost.

Written in the voice of the club professional by the team of experts at Golf Monthly, Foremost will even coordinate the distribution of the content so the member doesn’t even have to remember to press send each week.

By making their initial ‘Supplier Selections’ with a member of the team at the EMP Lite service, the communication will then only be populated with products from brands they stock in their store, in order to proactively drive sales.

Members will also be required to provide both their customer email database and golf club crest for integration into the EMP Lite communications.

“We’re extremely proud of our EMP and the fact that it’s widely regarded as the best and most powerful marketing tool in golf retail. We continue to believe it provides a wide range of genuine benefits for its growing membership, and we hope that the introduction of EMP Lite will engage more members with our digital services,” said Foremost Company Director, Andy Martin.

“It’s our firm belief at Foremost that those who aren’t communicating to their consumers digitally on a regular basis will soon start to see business decline under pressure from online and other proactive retail competition.”
