Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the shaft of choice for the 2024 Race to Dubai champion. Used by a variety of players on Tour this season, Fujikura finished the year at the DP World Tour Championship as the #1 driver shaft.
At Jumeriah Golf Estates, 44% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft during the event. These stats included the eventual winner in Dubai, who trusted in the VENTUS Black 6-X in his driver and VENTUS Black 8-X and VENTUS Black 9-X in his fairway woods. The DP World Tour winner claimed his 2nd Rolex Series win of the season and 6th Race to Dubai title.
Out of the 44 events on the DP World Tour this season, 24 events have been won by a player using a Fujikura driver and/or wood shaft. This included three Rolex Series events, 1 Major and 1 Olympic gold medal.
Over on the PGA Tour at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, Fujikura was the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft. In total, 33.3% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 33.3% in the wood shaft count and 25.0% in the hybrid shaft count.
