TOULON LAUNCHES STROKE-SPECIFIC FORMULA PUTTER RANGE

Toulon Golf has entered the zero-torque category with the launch of its new Formula Collection, a three-model range designed to broaden the appeal of torque-reducing putters by offering options tailored to different putting strokes.

The premium putter brand, based in Vista, California, developed the Formula Series in response to growing consumer interest in zero-torque designs. Rather than commit to a single toe-up solution, Toulon identified a performance gap in the market: a lack of options that retain the benefits of reduced torque while accommodating a variety of stroke types.

“The market has seen a surge in toe-up offerings, but golfers were being pigeonholed into changing their strokes to suit the design,” said the brand. “We wanted to create a better fit for how players naturally deliver the putter head.”

The result is a three-model lineup:

  • Formula [CS]: A centre-shafted, zero toe-hang model aimed at players with a moderate arc and slight face rotation.

  • Formula [45]: Features -45° toe hang and a rearward shaft position to suit shallow arc strokes with minimal face rotation.

  • Formula [90]: A fully toe-up, zero-torque design intended for straight-back, straight-through strokes.

All models feature over 6,000 MOI, a multi-material construction for a forward CG, and Toulon’s Deep Diamond Mill face pattern, known for its roll consistency and premium sound. Each model is also available in a Heavy Spec configuration, offering a 390g head, 15-inch grip, and added stability.

The Formula Collection is positioned at the top end of the market, with standard models priced at £649 and Heavy Spec versions at £699. A black steel shaft upgrade is available for £20.

The launch offers a commercial opportunity for retailers to tap into the high-end putter category with a fresh narrative around stroke-specific design and face angle consistency. Toulon’s proven tour pedigree and focus on custom-fit performance may appeal to both premium consumers and serious players seeking a tailored putting solution.
