Your Golf Travel’s #Greatest18 in Andalucia reaches more than 3 million golfers

Your Golf Travel, in association with The Andalucia Tourist board, teamed up with Mark Crossfield and Coach Lockey to seek out the very best holes in Andalucia to form part of the #Greatest18. Over the course of 5 days, 18 different golf holes at 18 golf courses were played, which engaged with over 3.1 million across Twitter and Instagram. The content will form part of an exciting series of videos to showcase the many different golfing areas that make up Andalucia which will be released in December.

As one of Europe’s most diverse golfing regions, Andalucia welcomes golfers all the way from Huelva to Almeria. The #Greatest18 concept showcased a variety of golf courses, terrain and views on offer within this golfing metropolis. With many courses featured that are slightly off the beaten track and not necessary at the front of golfer’s mind, this series of videos looks set to provide some fantastic inspiration for people seeking their next European golfing getaway.

Taking in past European Tour venues including Barcelo Montecastillo, where Your Golf Travel ambassadors Lee Westwood and Darren Clarke have both tasted victory, Finca Cortesin and La Reserva as well as popular Costa del Sol resorts La Cala Resort and Westin La Quinta, the videos will cover a wide range of price points, difficulty and popularity.

Your Golf Travel’s Head of Marketing Oliver Gunning added “This was an ambitious content project and one that I’m thrilled will show golfers the diverse landscape that Andalucia has to offer. It has certainly inspired my next golf holiday and I’m sure it will do the same for the millions who will engage with the videos.”The content will be available to watch on Mark Crossfield’s YouTube Channel and will be syndicated through Your Golf Travel to reach several million more golfers.
