Your Golf Travel unveils ‘Team YGT’ Initiative

On the Monday of British Masters week, Your Golf Travel (YGT) invited a number of industry figures to the official launch of its new Team YGT initiative at Close House with Lee Westwood, YGT’s Chief Holiday Officer.

Your Golf Travel has been at the very forefront of the world golf travel market since its inception in 2005, during which time the company is proud to have overseen and co-ordinated bookings and tee-times for a phenomenal 1.6 million golfers, to over 3,000 destinations in 22 countries all around the world.

The new Team YGT ambassador initiative has been created to utilize the connections and visibility of golf professionals, social media influencers or others in the industry who are ideally placed to help grow YGT’s success and drive sales of golfing holidays through their contacts and channels.

Those invited to Close House were able to draw on the experience and insight of Westwood, YGT’s Chief Holiday Officer, who hosted the day. Team YGT will be limited to 50 individuals, who will enjoy exclusive offers and access, commission on sales they generate, attractive point of sale promotional materials where applicable (at pro shops, driving ranges or golf clubs, for example) and further bespoke Team YGT benefits. Team YGT will also serve as a new umbrella title under which all arms of the company’s golf trade business will now sit.
