Westwood wins 40th victory with Titleist

Lee Westwood recorded his fortieth worldwide career victory on Sunday, 20 April by winning the Maybank Malaysian Open by seven shots. Westwood played a Titleist Pro V1x to complete a bogey-free final round 68 for an 18-under par, 270 winning total. Westwood’s continuing impressive form followed his seventh place finish at the Masters.

Westwood’s winning margin at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club was the largest of his 23 European Tour titles. All top-four players in the co-sanctioned European Tour and Asian Tour event used the Titleist Pro V1x ball with Bernd Wiesberger, Louis Oosthuizen and Nicolas Colsaerts finishing joint-tied for second place.
