Watson wins Masters hitting Titleist with Ping

Bubba Watson posted a 69 final round at the US Masters for a 280 shot total and an 8-under par winning score. Bubba played the Titleist Pro V1x as did runners-up Jordan Spieth and Jonas Blixt. Titleist was the overwhelming golf ball of choice, with 51 players in the limited-field event using a Titleist golf ball, more than three times the nearest competitor with 15.

In his bag Watson used Ping clubs including his trade mark pink G25 8.5° driver. At the notorious par-5 thirteenth on Amen corner, Watson boomed a monster drive over 360 yards to leave himself a 140 yard pitch in with his Ping Gorge 56° wedge. Bubba’s two putt birdie with his Milled Anser putter was a turning point on the back nine with five pars then needed for the win.
