Watson nails win with Ping

With Ping clubs in his bag, Bubba Watson won the Northern Trust Open on Sunday following a bogey free weekend resulting in a two shot victory over Dustin Johnson. Watson used his Ping Anser Milled 1 putter to roll in a 14-foot birdie on the final hole for his first tour win since he beat Louis Oosthuizen in a playoff at Augusta National nearly two years ago.

A blistering front nine 30 featured some booming drives with Watson’s distinctive pink Ping G25 8.5 degree driver. After his win Watson also gave credit to his new Ping irons, following a recent change: “It’s been 10 years since I’ve changed irons and I just went to the S55s. Somehow, my bad shots turn out good.”
