Top 4 and Team Winners All Wear Stuburt

LIV Golf Adelaide saw perhaps the best ever podium representation for a British brand at a top level golf event as the Top 4 finishers and the Team winners all sported outfits designed and produced by British apparel brand Stuburt.

Finishing at 13 under after an incredible final round 65, Joaquin Niemann took the top spot, narrowly edging out R2 leader Carlos Ortiz and Abraham Ancer who had led for the majority of the day. One shot behind sat David Puig, to complete the Stuburt line-up on top of the leaderboard.

With Puig and Ancer both representing Fireballs G.C., their finish, along with those of captain Sergio Garcia and new team mate Luis Masaveu saw them take the team title by six shots, while fellow Stuburt team Torque G.C. came in third.

“This really is a dream come true,” commented Managing Director of Stuburt Graeme Stevens. “I can’t think of any brand that has worked with the Top 4 finishers at a world class event, let alone a British brand like Stuburt. For Fireballs to come in with the team title as well really is the icing on the cake. We started the week with our team captains, Joaquin Niemann, Sergio Garcia and Louis Oosthuizen inspiring the next generation of golfers at a fan event in the Adelaide suburbs, and we’ve finished the week with a clean sweep of silverware. Stuburt isn’t the best known name in golf, but anyone who takes a look at our LIV range or our core golf range will be impressed by what our team in Manchester are doing for golf apparel.”

The LIV Golf schedule moves on to Hong Kong, Singapore and Miami before the Masters in early April. Stuburt is delighted that four of its sponsored players will be wearing the brand at the Masters, as previous champions Charl Schwartzel and Sergio Garcia, along with Joaquin Niemann and Jhonnatan Vegas take on the first Major of the year.
