The world’s top-ranked amateur, Jackson Koivun, spearheaded the U.S. to victory at The 50th Walker Cup, securing a 3-and-2 win in Sunday afternoon’s lead-off singles match en route to a 17-9 win for the Americans.
Koivun – gaming a Pro V1 golf ball and all-Titleist setup that includes his GT2 driver, NEW T-Series long irons, Vokey SM10 wedges and Scotty Cameron Phantom 9 putter – won both of his singles matches over the weekend at Cypress Point. In his 4-and-3 singles victory on Sunday, he played the 15 holes in 7 under par.
In Sunday morning foursomes, Koivun and his partner – who was also playing a Pro V1 golf ball, GT3 driver, Vokey wedges and Scotty Cameron putter – came from 2 holes down with three to play to win the match, 1 up, on the 18th hole, with Koivun holing a slick 4-footer for the victory.

TITLEIST IS OVERWHELMING #1 BALL & MOST PLAYED DRIVER, IRON, WEDGE, PUTTER AT CYPRESS POINT
Koivun, who has already earned his PGA TOUR card via the PGA TOUR University Accelerated program, was among the overwhelming majority of Walker Cuppers (18 of 20) playing a Titleist golf ball this week at Cypress Point, with nine of 10 players on each team (90%) trusting a Pro V1, Pro V1x or Pro V1x Left Dash golf ball.
Eight of the top 10 players in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (including all of the top six) teed it up this weekend on the Monterey Peninsula – and all eight of them trusted the #1ballingolf.
• Titleist drivers were also the top choice of this elite amateur group, with 11 players (55%) gaming a Titleist off the tee, including five of the WAGR’s top six. Ten of them were GT2 or GT3 models.
• Titleist was the most trusted iron among this year’s Walker Cup selections, with eight (40%) iron sets in play.
• More than half (57%) of the gap, sand and lob wedges in play at Cypress Point were Vokey Design.
• Half of the field (10 players) played a Scotty Cameron putter, including five Phantom mallets and Studio Style Fastback 1.5 and Newport 2 Plus models.
