
Titleist players continued their strong start to the season with victories across the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and multiple international circuits, while the brand’s new GTS metalwoods also made an immediate impact during their first official week on the DP World Tour.
On the PGA Tour, Titleist golf ball player Kristoffer Reitan secured his maiden PGA Tour title at the Truist Championship after a composed performance at Quail Hollow Club.
Gaming a Titleist Pro V1, Reitan gained more than seven shots tee-to-green across the week and finished on 15-under-par to claim a two-shot victory. The Norwegian ranked tied fourth in greens in regulation and produced a bogey-free third round on his way to rounds of 66-70-64-69.
The win continues a strong stretch for Titleist golf ball players, following recent victories from Cameron Young and Matt Fitzpatrick.
Meanwhile on the DP World Tour, South Africa’s Yurav Premlall delivered one of the most dominant performances in recent history to win the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship by 14 shots.
Playing a Titleist Pro V1, the 22-year-old finished at 28-under-par after weekend rounds of 63-63 at Real Club de Golf El Prat. Premlall gained more than 14 shots on approach play alone, hit 81 per cent of greens in regulation and made a field-leading 33 birdies during the week.
The event also marked the first official DP World Tour launch week for Titleist’s new GTS drivers and fairways. Titleist was the most played driver brand in the field with 56 drivers in play, including 32 new GTS models. The Titleist GTS3 was the most played individual model with 16 in play.
Players using the new GTS metals included Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Bernd Wiesberger, Niklas Norgaard and Yannick Paul.
Elsewhere, new Vokey Design SM11 wedges were also in the winner’s bag at LIV Golf Virginia, while Seungtaek Oh claimed his first KPGA title with a Titleist Pro V1x.
On the Asian Tour, Ian Snyman secured his maiden victory using a full Titleist setup including a Titleist GT3, Titleist T100 and Vokey Design SM10.
In Korea, Hyo Joo Kim continued her excellent form by winning the NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship with a Titleist Pro V1x and three new SM11 wedges.
