TaylorMade take The Players Championship and Magical Kenya Open

Rory McIlroy captured THE PLAYERS Championship title over the strongest field of the season so far. Armed with his M5 driver, ’19 TP5 golf ball and Spider X putter, Rory’s 5th career PGA TOUR victory continues TaylorMade’s success on Tour with their sixth win for their new M5 & M6 drivers and ’19 TP5 golf balls.

Finding his putting stroke at TPC Sawgrass, Rory’s win was also the 2nd win in 3 weeks for the company’s new Spider X putter, with McIlroy joining the winner of the Honda Classic who’ve used the newest putter.

On the European Tour Guido Migliozzi held his nerve to win his first European Tour title in just his 14th start on tour at the Magical Kenya Open.

Guido, who has three wins on the Alps Tour used those experiences to card a 69 and get to 16 under, one shot clear of his nearest competitor. Armed with a bag of TaylorMade clubs and golf ball Migliozzi now rises to #28 in the Race to Dubai rankings.

Rory plays a 9° M5 Driver with a Mitsubishi Chemical Tensei CK70 Pro White graphite shaft. At TPC Sawgrass, Rory averaged 305 yards off the tee for the tournament – good for fifth in the field.

In addition to the M5 driver, McIlroy also games a 19° M5 titanium fairway, which he put into play the same week he added the M5 driver to the bag – in Kapalua.

Rory’s first PGA TOUR win of the season is the 4th win for the new 2019 TP5/x golf ball – joining Johnson (x2) and Fowler as staffers who’ve won playing it. Rory’s preferred golf ball is the is the ’19 TP5, stamped #22.

McIlroy added the new Spider X putter to his equipment arsenal this season and the results have been impressive. This week, he carded 21 birdies or better en route to victory. His win is the second on the PGA TOUR with the company’s newest putter; joining the winner of the Honda Classic.

Having played the Milled Grind Wedges since first joining Team TaylorMade, Rory’s setup has remained fairly consistent throughout the year This week, he opted for the Milled Grind Raw in 48°, complementing it with 54° & 60° Milled Grind Hi-Toe wedges.

Migliozzi plays the M5 Driver equipped with a Graphite Design DI 6 X shaft and averaged over 308 yards off the tee.

He uses the M5 Titanium fairway equipped with a Graphite Design DI 8 X shaft. Guido then moves to a GAPR MID #2 to bridge his gap between his metalwoods and irons.

Guido plays a combo set of irons across the P Series family with a P770 4 Iron, P750 5 and 6 Iron before transitioning into P730’s from 7 Iron to Pw, all equipped with Project X LZ 6.5 shafts.

Guido plays the Milled Grind Wedges in 50, 54 and 58 degree equipped with Project X 6.5 shafts.

Guido’s ball of choice is the TP5x
