Following the launch of the AeroBurner driver in January, TaylorMade has announced the launch of AeroBurner irons, the AeroBurner mini-driver and AeroBurner Pro golf ball completing the AeroBurner range.
The AeroBurner irons feature an up-to-the-limit COR face design engineered to maximise ball speed off the clubface. TaylorMade says a low centre of gravity (CG) generates high launch and great feel throughout the set. Additionally, the high-MOI head design provides enhanced forgiveness and stability on balls hit across the clubface.
Incorporating TaylorMade’s Speed Pocket technology to promote higher launch angles and more ball speed, AeroBurner irons maintain ball speed on shots hit low on the face for a more consistent shot on mis-hits. AeroBurner irons are available in eight-piece sets equipped with stock Reax 88 High Launch steel shafts for £599 or Reax 60 graphite shafts at £699.
The AeroBurner Mini Driver is a 253cc metalwood with a 43½ inch shaft, designed as a driver alternative or a three-wood replacement. The shallow face with raised centre crown incorporates a new hosel fin, created to maximise clubhead speed during the downswing. With emphasis placed on low-forward CG, TaylorMade says the Mini Driver delivers driver-like launch conditions off the tee with remarkable accuracy.
The AeroBurner Mini Driver will be available in two models. The standard available in three loft options (12°, 14° and 16°) for £219; and the TP (12° and 14°) for £299.
Aeroburner Pro is a three-piece ball designed for high ball speeds off the clubface with spin control and soft feel from TaylorMade’s Spin Mantle and proprietary Iothane cover, priced at £24.99.
