SUSTAINABLE PERFORMANCE AND NATURAL FIBRES WITH CONTEMPORARY STYLING IN THE GLENMUIR SPRING SUMMER 2022 COLLECTION

Glenmuir, the Scottish golf clothing brand, launches its Spring Summer 2022 collection (SS22) with vibrant colours Cobalt and Sorbet as well as the classic colour Bordeaux incorporating a crisp twist combing white, navy, and light grey. The focus remains strong on sustainable performance fabrics as well as luxurious natural fibres combined with contemporary styling.

Glenmuir’s Luxury mercerised cotton polo shirts are made from the finest combed cotton yarn and fabric resulting in a lustrous silk like handle, luxurious drape and enhanced colour retention. New for SS22 this collection has been injected with some beautiful and vibrant new styles, g.Kelvin is a sophisticated cross dyed double mercerised polo shirt with a striking chest stripe available in three different colour combinations. g.Ardoch is a mercerised pique polo shirt with small embroidered golf flags all over whilst g.Letham provides a new double mercerised all over stripe option, including a solid-coloured anti curl rib collar.

Superior Performance polo shirts are made from active fabric which is highly functional with moisture wicking technology delivering breathability, +40 UV protection, thermoregulation and enhanced freedom of movement. An all-over micro golf flag design in three different colourways as well as a tartan print option are available in the new style g.Crawford, whilst Cobalt/White and Sorbet/Navy are a vibrant addition to the micro stripe style g.Torrance. Providing sporty colour blocking in a performance pique fabric are two new styles g.Harris and g.Hutton, these are both presented in three different colour options to choose from. Cobalt/Black adds a new colour option for g.Brody, Glenmuir’s jacquard camo patterned polo shirt. For Ladies’ the favourite classic performance polo shirt g.Paloma sees the addition of Bordeaux,  this colour is also available in the men’s complimentary style g.Deacon making it the perfect option for teamwear. New sleeveless styles in the ladies’ performance shirt collection are g.Priyanka providing a sporty option incorporating piping, panelling and a zipped neck with a stand-up colour, whilst g.Heidi has a selection of houndstooth or tropical prints to choose from, perfect for outfitting with the g.Alma skort or g.Phoebe pedal pushers. The prettiest sleeveless shirt incorporating ruffle detailing and rhinestone buttons welcomes the additional Cobalt colour option. g.Perrie and g.Stella are both sleek and stylish short sleeve pique polo shirts available in three colour options each.

Glenmuir are pioneers in golf clothing in natural fibres which are renewable and environmentally friendly. Brand new for SS22 are Men’s cotton knitwear styles g.Balcomie, g.Largs and g.Carrick made from 100% pure combed premium cotton from renewable sources. g.Balcomie incorporates a traditional cable knit with a contemporary twist using bold contrast tipping, whilst g.Largs and g.Carrick are sporty designs combining bold colours and sleeve stripes with textured knits. g.Paige and g.Silvia are fabulous new ladies’ knitwear styles. g.Paige has small embroidered flowers with lurex detail whilst g.Silvia is designed with an elegant pointelle stitch on the chest and sleeves. g.Isabella is a new full length zipped sweater combining a sporty sleeve stripe with sparkling rhinestones.

The midlayer and padded collection has an extremely exciting new offering with three brand new products added to this category for SS22. g.Docherty is a padded Storm Bloc.® performance jacket,  available in 3 colours; Navy, Black and Light Grey. It is made from a combination of a performance water and wind resistant outer and heat insulating down which retains body warmth. Textured stretch side panels and sleeves add enhanced freedom of movement. g.Bute is a padded Storm Bloc.® performance gilet, available in three colour options this gilet has bonded padded zones in a contemporary zig zag pattern, it is wind resistant and water repellent with thermal properties whilst remaining lightweight, stretch binding around the armholes and hem ensures comfort throughout your game. Finally, g.Callander is a padded Storm Bloc.® performance jacket with bonded padded zones on the front and back, it has stretch fleece sleeves and side panels with a ribbed cuff and hem for the perfect fit whilst providing warmth, blocking wind chill, and repelling showers. For Ladies’, the g.Carina Midlayer has two new tropical print options; White/Cobalt Tropical Print and Navy/Navy Tropical print, whilst g,Poppy the Storm Bloc.® performance jacket also adds an exciting Navy/Navy Tropical Print colourway.

Performance shorts g.Keble sees a cool addition of both Light Grey and  Stone introduced. Made from active functional fabric with moisture wicking yarn including a silicone grip tape waistband and deep scorecard pocket, these shorts would look great teamed with the new mercerised shirt offerings for SS22 or a fresh White g.Deacon performance polo shirt.
