Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft on the PGA Tour in Florida, including the PGA Tour winner who claimed his Players Championship victory with all VENTUS driver and wood shafts in the bag.
At the Players Championship in Florida, Fujikura once again dominated the standings with the #1 spot in the driver, wood and hybrid shaft counts during the event. A total of 36.8% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft at TPC Sawgrass, with another 31.8% using a wood shaft and further 19.6% using a Fujikura hybrid shaft.
The eventual winner was also part of these figures, using VENTUS in his driver and wood shafts to capture his second victory of the 2022/23 PGA Tour season. The current Masters champion used the VENTUS Black 8X in his driver shaft and the VENTUS Black 7X in his 3-wood shaft. Ranked #1 in SG: Off the tee and Driving Distance for the week, the new World Number One has been a consistent user of VENTUS throughout his recent surge back to the top spot in the world of golf.
The PGA Tour success continues for Fujikura this year. Out of the 22 events so far this season, this was the 11th win for a player using a Fujikura driver or wood shafts.
