Jordan Spieth’s remarkable season and his metronomic putting has seen demand for his SuperStroke Flatso 1.0 putter grip increase as players around the world look to emulate the FedEx champion.
The new World Number one topped the putting charts last year with an average 1.699 putts during his 91 rounds on the PGA Tour this season. Spieth led the Tour’s one-putt percentages with 701 single strokes in 1,584 holes played – over 44 per cent of putts made. He also converted more than a third of birdie opportunities and topped the charts in the 15-25 foot distance category, holing 62 of his 228 attempts.
“It’s been an incredible year for SuperStroke grips and at times we’ve struggled to keep up with the level of demand from our customers,” said Tony Fletcher, head of sales in Europe.
“Interest in the Flatso grip series in particular has been huge, as Jordan’s success on the greens has been seen by millions of keen golfers wanting to bring their own scores down,” added Fletcher. “Now that he’s completed this record-breaking season, we recommend that golf retailers prepare for even greater demand from their customers while stocks last.”
The SuperStroke Flatso series patented parallel technology design allows for even pressure in both hands, eliminating wrist movement in the putting stroke. This helps the golfer swing the putter more freely, making it easier to use the shoulders and minimises the chances of one hand dominating the other.
Available in Black/White and Red/White the Faltso 1.0 club grip is available now at a RRP of £22.99. For more information visit www.brandfusionltd.co.uk.
