Shearer flies in to play the first at Kedleston Park

Kedleston Park in Derbyshire welcomed Alan Shearer who arrived by helicopter, along with Feisal Nahaboo to participate in the Futurelink Group Golfing Challenge. Played over 18 holes on 18 different courses across the UK, the challenge raises fund for the Alan Shearer Foundation, a child disability charity.

The par five, first hole at Kedleston Park was Shearer and Nahaboo’s seventh hole of the day and despite the tight schedule, Shearer had time for pictures and autographs with many of the Kedleston Park members who were present to cheer him on. Starting in the northeast, their day finished in Berkshire some 15 hours and over 400 miles later. More at: www.kedlestonparkgolfclub.co.uk
