Seven Iron wins pitch for Hole19 brand campaign.

Seven iron the golf advertising and production company won a competitive pitch to
create the new brand campaign for Hole19.

Hole19 is a leading app that allows its members to know exact GPS yardages of
thousands of courses and their club distances. It also utilises augmented reality for
players to navigate the course and its dangers. Its community currently stands at 3.2
million members.

With an insight of golfers hitting clubs they don’t know how far they hit, to distances they
don’t know, the campaign features a golfer tracking down and stopping his ‘old’ self from
hitting another bad shot. It will launch on VOD and social during the The Open, the last
golfing Major of the year.

Dave Bedwood, Creative Partner of Seven Iron: “Golf ads tend to follow an identical
formula: famous player x slow mo swing = brand. The Hole 19 brief was fantastic: “please
don’t let it look like another golf ad”.

Ben Hacker, Head of Marketing: “It’s our mission at Hole19 to create work that inspires a
golfers next round in a way that no other golf app has or would do and Seven Iron
delivered against this brief perfectly.
