SEVE Collection has launched ‘The Heart of SEVE’, the first release from its limited Shield Collection created for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor.
The capsule comprises polos, mid-layers and headwear carrying the official Ryder Cup emblem. A silhouette of Seve Ballesteros is positioned discreetly beneath the emblem, placing the tribute close to the wearer’s heart.
The concept was inspired by the internal Seve tribute worn by Europe’s players at the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black. SEVE Collection has reinterpreted the idea as a recurring design detail across its licensed 2027 range.

‘The Heart of SEVE’ is the first of three Shield Collection drops planned ahead of the Ryder Cup, which will be played at Adare Manor in Ireland from 13–19 September 2027.
The opening release focuses on Ballesteros’ playing career and his influence on Europe’s Ryder Cup identity. He represented Europe eight times after the team was expanded from Great Britain and Ireland in 1979, forming a celebrated partnership with José María Olazábal.
Ballesteros helped Europe end a 28-year wait for victory in 1985 and was part of the team that recorded its first Ryder Cup win on American soil at Muirfield Village two years later. He subsequently captained Europe to victory at Valderrama in 1997, the first Ryder Cup staged in continental Europe.
Sebastian Billing, CMO at SEVE Collection, said: “The Heart of Ryder Cup is about putting Seve exactly where we believe he belongs. The hidden icon behind the Ryder Cup emblem is a small detail, but it carries the whole idea of the collection.

“This first drop is about Seve the player – the heart, the instinct, imagination and competitive fire people remember when they think of him in the Ryder Cup. We wanted the collection to carry that connection without overstating it.”
SEVE Collection is an official licensee of the 2027 Ryder Cup, which will mark 100 years since the first match was played in 1927.
Isabella Pidgley, Head of Retail and Licensing at Ryder Cup Europe, said the concealed icon connected the official tournament emblem with Ballesteros’ place in the history of the European team.
Javier Ballesteros, president of the Seve Ballesteros Foundation, added: “To see the SEVE icon placed behind the Ryder Cup emblem is very special for our family and the Foundation. It is understated, but the meaning is clear. His connection with the Ryder Cup remains part of his story and part of the competition’s history.”
The collection is available through SEVE Collection’s online channels, with early access being offered to existing customers. A limited selection will also be sold through key retail stockists and point-of-sale locations.
