Saxton eyeing history with the help of Shot Scope technology

Elite Scottish amateur golfer Jennifer Saxton has qualified to compete in the prestigious Concession Cup and credits her recent success to the use of Shot Scope’s shot-tracking technology and data.

Notably, this is the first time that women will participate in the Concession Cup. “This is an exciting honour. Awareness around women’s golf is growing, and more opportunities are becoming available to us,” said Saxton, a member of the European team. “We hope to be the first ones to get our names on that trophy and make history.”

Saxton, the marketing manager at Shot Scope, achieved scratch golfer status during university and now holds a +5 handicap. The use of shot-tracking data has enabled her to make targeted improvements to specific parts of her game. “With data-driven changes and input from my coach, my Fairway Hit Percentage has increased from 51% in 2021 to 65% in 2024,” she noted.

Saxton has already accumulated numerous accolades, including a current World Amateur Golf ranking of 376, ninth-ranked female Mid-Amateur player in the world, a member of the Scottish national ladies’ team, and the 2022 St Rule Trophy champion.

As a devoted user of Shot Scope products for over six years, Saxton praises the shot-tracking technology, saying, “For a golfer new to data tracking, it might seem daunting, but Shot Scope makes it easy to learn key insights about your game.”

Founded in Scotland, the home of golf, Shot Scope lives by the mantra “Know your game.” The company provides golfers of all skill levels with innovative, subscription-free products ranging from GPS tracking watches to laser rangefinders. The brand’s passion and expertise is evident, with players in 160 countries worldwide using Shot Scope products.

The Concession Cup will be held at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club in Savannah, Georgia, from November 4th to 8th, where a team of men and women from Europe will compete against Team USA.
