Ryan Bodkin joins team at Worldwide Golf Brands

Worldwide Golf Brands has announced that experienced area sales manager Ryan Bodkin will be joining the business on 4th January 2022 to represent Oscar Jacobson, Stuburt, MacGregor and Farah Golf in the South of England. Ryan will cover the area south of the Thames, stretching across the country south of the M4 from Kent to Hampshire.

Ryan, who has worked in the golf industry for 19 years, with the past 10 at Masters Golf, will be taking over the region from Matt Allen on 4th January 2022. Matt will be moving on after working with WWGB for the past 2 ½ years. He leaves O.J. in a very healthy position in the South East, giving Ryan a great platform to develop the brand and grow the presence of Macgregor, Stuburt and Farah Golf.

“Bringing Ryan on board is a great move for our continued development,” commented Steve Grant, WWGB Sales Manager. “He has a fantastic track record with Masters and a huge range of contacts across the region. In our discussions, we were incredibly impressed by Ryan’s enthusiasm for our brands and his desire to deliver significant growth across the region. We’ve found a great appointment for a key area and look forward to helping Ryan achieve his ambitions.”

Upon the announcement of his appointment, Ryan said, “I’ve got a real passion for golf apparel, so when the opportunity to work with such a fantastic portfolio of brands came up, I jumped at the chance. I’ve actually worn Oscar Jacobson apparel for many years, so know the quality on offer. Stuburt provides great quality at a completely different price point and with Farah Golf about to launch in SS22 I’m really getting the chance to indulge my passion! Add in the unmatched heritage and affordable quality on offer with MacGregor and I can’t wait to introduce my network of contacts across the South of England to these incredible brands.”

Ryan starts his employment with WWGB on 4th January when he will begin his visits across the region. In the meantime, if you would like to book an appointment with Ryan for the New Year, please contact Sgrant@wwgb.uk.com
