Rose gets a winning grip on Lamkin

Grips manufacturer Lamkin has reported an uplift in sales of its REL range with the introduction of its proprietary Ace 3GEN material. European orders of its REL range double compared to the same period last year and the company believes the introduction of the new material is the key factor. The introduction of the REL Ace 3GEN has also been boosted by the decision of Justin Rose to switch to the new grip, and immediately winning the US PGA Tour Quicken Loans National.

Richard Dixon, European sales manager commented, “The REL has always sold well as it has the largest selection of colour and size options in golf. But now it has the combination of the super tacky Ace 3GEN material and the REL surface pattern, the connection it gives a golfer to their clubs is so secure the performance of the grip shines through as well. The best way to sell a grip is to get it in a customer’s hands so we offer retailers display stands with shafted samples so customers can feel the benefit of new Lamkin grips for themselves.”
